Didn’t want to miss this show at St. Alban’s Church on September 14, 2018.
Sadly I missed Gianna Lauren‘s set but I will give it an imaginary 8/10 from what my friends told me about her set.
Made it on time for Julie Doiron & The Wooden Stars.
They reunited to do a really short mini-tour.
There are so many facades to Julie Doiron, she can rock it out loud with Julie & The Wrong Guys to her solo singer-songwriter materials that can be a mix of folk and rock music.
This was my first time seeing with Julie and The Wooden Stars.
There was a sense of nice atmospheric flow to their music.
Julie seemed very comfortable having a band like Wooden Stars get things working well.
Nice Friday to enjoy some nice music in a church. 8/10.
