Live in Bellwoods on June 17, 2011 [NXNE 2011]

June 17th was the second day of the Live in Bellwoods: the NXNE Picnic Series 2011.
This is their second year doing this.
It is basically bands playing in Trinity Bellwoods and doing a stripped down acoustic sessions.
Great way to enjoy the weather and chill out to the music.
On the second day I got to see:

• Freedom Or Death



• Doldrums



• Enjoy Your Pumas



• Olenka and the Autumn Lovers



• The Balconies



• Nicholas Doubleyou & The B Squad

I thought I was going to be late on missing out on Freedom Or Death.
Thanks to Andrew Colvin on how great their style of music is.
But I got there in just in time.
I thought he would finish with one last song.
Apparently he played until like 2:15pm

Doldrums was up next.
This was the only time I got to see him live.
It was different for him to do a low-key acoustic session.
Interesting set he put on.

Enjoy Your Pumas was amazing live!

Olenka and the Autumn Lovers are beautiful as ever with the music.
Again it was the female part of the band was playing.
Funny part was when Olenka called me out when I requested for “Flash In The Pan”.

The Balconies again were doing the Live In Bellwoods session.
They did the whole classical thing again which was amazing to hear!

Apparently there was a special guest after the Balconies.
