What I love about going to NXNE is seeing acts that I haven’t seen.
Also acts that seem to skip Ottawa in the process.
While still in the Garrison, one of two bands that I was eager to see was Lower Dens from Baltimore.
They just amazed me with their new wave fuzzy guitar rock sound.
Bought their 7″ and didn’t know they are (as they say somewhat) signed to Sub Pop.
