After one show, I quickly made my way to House of Targ for a Side by Side presents event with New Brunswick band Motherhood and Ottawa/Gatineau’s KAY-Fayb.
Motherhood delivered a high-energy set, showcasing their signature loud, art-alt rock sound.
They previewed some exciting new material from their upcoming 2025 album while also dipping into tracks from 2022’s Winded and older releases.
Opening the night was KAY-Fayb, who brought experimental rock to the stage.
Despite some technical difficulties, they improvised through the set, handling the hiccups with creativity and keeping the momentum going.
