Today, Canadian composer and synth maven Nick Schofield unveiled the music video for “Dream On,” featuring No Cosmos.
The track serves as the third single from his upcoming album Blue Hour, out February 6, 2026 via Backward Music, an imprint of Forward Music Group.
“Dream On” delivers a hazy, atmospheric blend of ambient and jazz, unfolding with a quiet luminosity that feels both soothing and blissfully weightless.

This song kicks off with a little drum break, and keeps rising with a sunny melody, synth sparkles and a smooth trumpet solo circling the main theme.
A friend recently asked me if this music is still ambient even if it has drums.
I thought about it for a second and replied “ambient is an ethos, it’s a lifestyle”. I think we all have a little *ambient* in our hearts.
