The third band to play the Horseshoe Taven during NXNE.
It was Calgary’s Viet Cong and I couldn’t be any happy to see them.
Last time was at Pop Montreal at a dirty dive bar playing at 2am and things got really rowdy.
This time it was laid back and not a lot of craziness.
I think they only played one track from their upcoming re-release of their “Cassette” EP through Mexican Summer.
They mostly played a lot of new loud heavy hitting lo-fi rock music.
