Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Ottawa Art Gallery’s Give to Get Art Auction 2025. This annual fundraising event is a cornerstone in supporting local artists, the OAG’s dynamic exhibitions, its permanent collection, and vital community programming.
This year was especially meaningful for me—it was my first time submitting one of my collages to the auction, and I’m thrilled to share that it was purchased!
The evening was a vibrant celebration of creativity and community. Guests were treated to an impressive selection of artworks, reflecting the immense talent and diversity within Ottawa’s arts scene. From bold contemporary pieces to intimate, introspective works, the range on display was inspiring and thought-provoking.
Beyond the art, the event offered a refined selection of food and drink. The culinary offerings were exceptional and added to the sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere of the gallery. It was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow artists, collectors, and supporters of the arts in a lively and engaging setting.
