RBC Ottawa Bluesfest 2015 – Day 6 [July 14, 2015]

After a day off for Ottawa Bluesfest 2015, things went back for day 6 of the festival.
The acts who performed that day were Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Black Lips, Metz, Future Islands, Mama Kin, New Swears and Operators.

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes @ Ottawa Bluesfest 2015
Headlining the Canadian Stage on Day 6 was Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. I was very excited for them since they hadn’t play Ottawa in quite some time. Literally on the first song Alex Ebert just got off the stage half way through the song and went into the audience. It was quite something to see.

Former Ottawa now in Toronto band Metz performed a scorching punk rock set.
Future Islands @ Ottawa Bluesfest 2015
Future Islands performing at the Bell Stage. Literally the lead singer sure knows how to get people’s attention for their set.
New Swears @ Ottawa Bluesfest 2015
Ottawa’s New Swears definitely put on an awesome fun garage pop rocking show. Filled with a “chef”, confetti popers and ice. It was a wild fun show and showed that people will support local talent.
Operators @ Ottawa Bluesfest 2015
Beginning at 6pm was the band Operators over at the Claridge Homes Stage. Enjoyed the electro-rock dance music. Nice to hear Dan’s vocals.

With the fluctuation with the weather.
This was a best night!
