Photos of 4in1 Acoustic Sessions in a Park #3 [June 3, 2012]

Thanks to “Mother Nature” with the rain, I had to re-route the location which was a drier place for the 4in1 Acoustic Park Sessions in Ottawa.
As they say: “The show must go on!”.
Confusing and last minute for wanting to go (I am very sorry for that) but it was a really nice session.
It was suppose to take place at Victoria Island but with the rain decided to take it to this the tunnels (The ones with art on the walls) which had the on Wellington St. near the Mill St. Brewpub.
Having it at the tunnels had a interesting and nice sound effect for the acts playing.
All four acts just impressed me alot!
Acts that played at session #3 were:
The Gallop

The Musettes

Brandon Allan

Lukas Grant
Lukas Grant @ 4in1 Session #3

Lukas Grant started off the set.
A Ottawa singer/songwriter, who I think looks like a young Jim Bryson.
He played a really nice set of his own music.
It had that indie folky-pop sound.
Someone told me that his music sounded very much like “The Tallest Man On Earth”.

Next was Ottawa’s Brandon Allan.
He played a nice indie acoustic folky-rock set.
Surprised he did a cover of Snailhouse’s song (Which I forgot the name).

Next was the Musettes.
They are a trio from Ottawa.
I was really impress with their music and talent.
Their music was indie acoustic pop folk.
It was catchy, fun and vibrant feel.
They remind me of The Good Lovelies.
They were great!

Last was The Gallop.
I’ve seen the band play live various times but never acoustic.
I have to say they sounded amazing when they go acoustic.
They played tracks from the long awaited full-length album.
Great as always.

Despite the horrible weather and low turnout.
At least I wasn’t pulling hairs during session #3 :P.
As mentioned before, if it rains the sessions will still but in a different location.
If it rains again, I will use this location.
Can’t wait for the videos which should be up in a few days.
REMINDER: Upcoming sessions are on June 24th, July 22nd and August 12th. If it rains it will be at this place
Here are the rest of the photos.
