On my last and final night at Pop Montreal 2011.
I headed up to Casa del Popolo for the Arts & Craft‘s showcase.
It was a Toronto music scene kind of night.
Wanted to show my support for the guys from The Darcys.
Surprise! Surprise! The band is signed on to Arts & Crafts! Congrats for them.
Got there when Bishop Morocco was playing.
The place was really packing.
They were really good with their indie rock tunes.
After them was TRUST.
Trust features Maya Postepski (Austra) on drums.
Think Austra but with a male lead singer.
Man Casa got really dancey with their music if you like the dark techno-electronica music.
I liked the set because you could dance but the only problem was their LCD strobe lights.
It was really distracting and blinding on the eyes.
Even a Pop Montreal staff member tweeted about their strobe lights.

Lastly it was The Darcy’s turn.
I haven’t seen them since April and it would a be a good chance if I remember the songs that will be on the upcoming album “The Darcys”.
It was a pretty loud epic set.
Great to be in a room where the place is packed.
Can’t wait for the album
This ended my fun times at Pop Montreal 2011.
I didn’t get to see the acts that I wanted to see but maybe next time.
Thank all the people I met and the staff at Pop Montreal.
Hope to make it next year!
