This was the only show I went at this year’s Pop Montreal on a Wednesday night.
At first I wasn’t thinking of going but what the heck not.
Playing at the show:
• Diana
• Empress Of
Arrived and got there when Empress Of played a few songs during the set.
From what I was told, it is a project by Lorely Rodriguez and they are from Brooklyn.
Their music was very electronica dance pop.
I was surprised to see one member of Brazos playing this band.
I really enjoyed it.
Then it was Diana’s turn
This was my third time this year seeing them live.
They didn’t disappoint!
The band played all the songs from Perpetual Surrender and covered More Than This.
It was packed but at least people were dancing to their music.
All I have to say that it was a great set.
