After seeing Colin Stetson, I went up to L’Escogriffe for this most talked about band called Viet Cong at Pop Montreal 2013.
Before seeing them I got to the venue and the Toronto band The Highest Order was playing.
I couldn’t get any shots because L’Escogriffe is a small dive bar.
The buzz about Viet Cong is that the members feature two ex-Women and Chad Van Gaalen.
Their music reminded me of Women.
It was a chaotic and overwhelming set for a 1am show.
Very surprised there was a good turnout.
I only managed to stay for two songs since it was too crazy.
