Sorry for the delay on my Pop Montreal 2022 coverage.
Here is who I saw on Day 4.
Started off the day by checking out this backyard show at a gallery called Projet Casa.
Performing was Isabella Lovestory which was a wild Latin Reggaeton and dance music.
So crazy that the police showed up at the end of the song due to someone complaining about the noise.
Went down to L’Entrepôt 77 and caught wonderful sets from OMBIIGIZII, Witch Prophet, Pelada and Haru Nemuri.
OMBIIGIZI fresh from their Polaris Music Prize Gala performance.
A loud and wonderful set performing from the full-length album Sewn Back Together
Been awhile since I last saw Witch Prophet.
Great set of electro-hip/hop music.
Pelada was loud and wild!
Previously posted but Haru Nemuri was the highlight on Saturday night.
She didn’t disappoint with indie J-Pop with hardcore and post-punk/rock music.
She was so cute when she spoke in English thanking her fans to come out on the first night of the North American tour.
Over at Rialto Theatre, I caught parts of Tortoise and Joe Rainey.
Ending Saturday night was the late show with Sister Nancy, Bambii and NIABI at Piccolo Rialto.
Check out the gallery.
