Pup, Big Dick and Bond Girls @ House of Targ [May 7, 2015]

It is the last week of Ontario Scene, enjoy it while you can.
For myself this is one of two shows I was very excited about.

This was literally a sold out show at House of Targ.
Playing at the show was Pup, Big Dick and Bond Girls.
The show started off with Bond Girls from Toronto.
Technically two of the members used to live in Ottawa.
They played a great indie heavy rock set.

Second band needs no intro, it was Ottawa’s Big Dick.
They played a awesome post-punk set.
A mix of tracks from the current album Disappointment to the self-titled album.

Then it was Pup’s to come on stage.
Having missed them last year at the same venue.
It was literally insanity.
People were moshing left, right and centre.
The band was still promoting their self-titled album which they had a new limited edition green-white album.
They previewed some new songs.
Anyways Pup is one of those bands, if you haven’t heard their music.
They have certain catchy songs which you can sing along without knowing it.

Forgot that it was Hot Dog Rock and Roll party.

Overall it was totally one of the best shows at Ontario Scene.
