Three years and it’s still going strong for Ottawa’s Raw Sugar Cafe.
So with that, there was a big celebration and blog launch filled with people, food, drinks, and of course, live music, on November 11, 2011 (aka 11/11/11).
Included in the live music was Ottawa’s Male Nurse with a DJ set for those wanting to dance at the party.

Starting out the show was Ottawa’s Andrew Vincent.
His set was a mix of rock, folk, pop, and hip-hop.
He had some special guests come up to the stage, which felt like a karaoke party.

Howie Tsui and Colin Vincent did a hip-hop number.

The most outrageous part was Jon Bartlett ending off with his “interpretation” of Whitney Houston’s I’m Every Woman; wow that was entertaining to see.
I couldn’t stop laughing, and you could say he stole the whole show.
It was a fun set to see.

Lastly it was Toronto’s Rouge.
They got people on their feet dancing to their electro-dance pop music!
I totally had a blast with their set.
Despite being very crowded, I found my way to get through and dance as much as I could.

Here’s to more successful years for Raw Sugar Cafe.
