Today was the return of Zellers.
The Canadian discount store opened up in Rideau’s The Bay on the third floor.
Overall it felt like a mix of Homesense and a better version of Dollar Store/Giant Tiger.
I decided to purchase the Zellers logo Hoodie and grey sweatshirt.
The reason for their return is this incident in Quebec and HBC decided to use the IP of the brand name.
While there was no diner, there was a food truck outside and went for the grill cheese since it was cheap but took about 50 minutes to get it ready to eat.
Nostalgia said and done, let’s hope it will stick around with the help of ANKO.
