Wild Saturday nights don’t get much better than this: a can’t-miss sold out show at Club SAW with Rich Aucoin on his New Nostalgia: Penultimate Tour, marking one of the final opportunities to experience his legendary, interactive parachute show.
After years of creating unforgettable memories, Rich has announced he will be retiring this unique spectacle in 2025.
The night kicked off with a synth-driven set featuring tracks from his Synthetic series, immersing the audience in a whirlwind of fun, intense instrumental techno. The energy was electric, with pulsating beats keeping everyone on their feet and fully engaged.
The second set transitioned to classic material from Personal Publication, which included his signature sync-up performance to How the Grinch Stole Christmas, alongside fan favorites from We’re All Dying to Live and United States.
It was a pure celebration, with the room bursting into dance and communal sing-alongs, reinforcing why Aucoin’s shows are so beloved.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for: Rich unfurled his iconic parachute, and the crowd went wild, joining together in a euphoric, kaleidoscopic experience that has defined his live shows for years.
Overall, it was a bittersweet night—a reminder of how Aucoin’s immersive, joy-filled performances have left an indelible mark on his audience. Saying goodbye to the parachute era will be tough, but for one more wild Saturday night, it was a beautiful celebration of music, community, and shared memories.
