As the saying goes, the show must go on.
That is what Winnipeg’s Royal Canoe did.
Recently the band’s tour trailer worth about $85,000 was robbed while in Laval/Montreal Quebec.
With that setback, the band did not cancel the Ottawa show at Zaphod Beeblebrox.
People came out in droves and supported Royal Canoe with their fun dancey synth pop music.
The band is currently promoting their new album Something Got Lost Between Here and the Orbit.
Starting off the show was The Belle Game.
It was the third time seeing them in the last two months.
At least this time I stayed for a whole set.
All I have to say they were great live, performing tracks from 2013’s album Ritual Tradition Habit and previewing new songs and the current song Yuh.
