Went to Babylon Nightclub for the final show for Ottawa’s Scary Bear Soundtrack.

• Harea Band
Being Scary Bear Soundtrack’s final show (for now), it was also their a music video release party for their song “Beaver Pond Forest”.
The show started off with this musician named Elizabeth Hodgson.
She played a nice played of acoustic pop music.
She even did a cover of Alanis’ “Ironic”.
The next act was The Harea Band.
Pretty much a new up and coming Ottawa act.
Finally got to see what they sound like.
They had that indie pop rock sound to them.
Got the audience getting into their music.
All I know was they ended off with a song about wanting to get laid. (They better not sing that on Jan 27th :P)
Next up was a band that came all the way up from Toronto.
I was kind of eager to see them since I did a short review.
Highs played an amazing set.
Felt like a mix between Braids and Bravestation.
There was a small technically difficulties during their second song.
But they totally impressed me!
Finally it was Scary Bear Soundtrack.
Can’t believe it is their last show for now.
Since Gloria the lead singer is moving to Nunavut for 2 years.
It was a nice hurrah.
Pretty fun and entertaining set they put on.
