Went to a early show at Umi Cafe on September 14, 2011.

I reviewed Shawn’s album last week so I wanted to check out his show.
Considering it was a last minute to do a show in Ottawa.
The show started off with Sara Ciantar.
I guess you can call her a travelling musicians since she sang songs about places she has been to.
Currently she resides in Toronto at the moment.
Her music is kind of indie folk acoustic pop.
Her music was nice to listen to.
Then Shawn Clarke came up.
He had a mini backing band which included Sara Ciantar.
The set was a mix of the current album Like Birds Too Tired To Fly and previewed about four new songs for an upcoming album or EP.
Surprised he did a cover of Arcade Fire’s Ocean Of Noise.
It was really well done to hear it.
Overall it was a great early show.
