Today, Norfolk County’s own Sunnsetter unveiled the music video for their latest single, “Fear it comes in waves.”
The track marks the third release ahead of their highly anticipated album, Heaven Hang Over Me, set to drop on November 15, 2024, via Paper Bag Records.
The song itself carries a rich, nostalgic 2000s alt-rock vibe—think the atmospheric intensity of early Interpol or The National, but with a modern, introspective twist.
Sunnsetter leans into the sweeping guitars, moody melodies, and emotionally-charged vocals that feel like a comforting nod to the past while still maintaining fresh energy.
About the track by Andrew:
Right out of the gate, the track is a sonic uppercut.
It lock-steps full-throttle duelling soaring guitar lines and heavenly layered vocals.
To Andrew it’s their examination of “the daily dread or anxiety that just finds its way into your everyday life, in waves, even when you find ways to cope with it.”
Never did panic pack such a melodic punch.
