The Polymorphines is a Ottawa garage rock band that has been together since 2008
July 30th will be a special night at Mavericks.
They are releasing The Slip EP after touring on their widely praised album Transistor Sistor in 2010 (Get Bent Records ).
Having recorded the soon to be released The Slip EP with Tim Kerr (Mudhoney, Big Boys) in Austin, Texas in Winter 2011, the boys brought chaos and debauchery to all 10 American dates they headlined in their first Southern States tour this past Spring.
The four-member group has gotten tighter, making backing harmony vocals fit perfectly with bluesy harmonica-infused songs, greasy vocals and stretching guitar solos without compromising the party-vibe of the album.
As mentioned about the CD Release show at Mavericks on 221 Rideau St.
Also on the bill are The Flaps, Devil Eyes, and Thunder Uncle.
