The Record Centre presented their 99th show on February 28th.
I caught the last two songs of the Wellington West Quartet.
I rarely go to a jazz show and it was a wonderful show.
The band consists of Vince Rimbach on Tenor and Soprano Saxophone, Ed Lister on Trumpet, Alex Bilodeau on Upright Bass and Mike Essoudry on Drums.
This is the second appearance for the Wellington West Quartet at the Record Centre.
The Wellington West Quartet explores playing jazz standards and originals without a chordal instrument to form a creative group experience.
The repertoire includes music by Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, Gerry Mulligan and originals by Vince Rimbach.
