There was no way I wouldn’t miss this show in a heartbeat.
It was the Wooden Sky‘s Annual Holiday Revue show.
This was the second time in Ottawa but they have been doing this for seven years in Toronto.
The proceeds from the show went to Carty House which is a communal residence in Ottawa that provides transitional housing for female refugee claimants and convention refugees.
Special guests performing were Trails and Edwin Huizinga.
This was definitely a wonderful show!
The band previewed alot of new materials from their upcoming album which should be ready by 2017.
Of course they performed their favorites from North Dakota, Child of the Valley, (Bit Part) and even the song The Wooden Sky.
Edwin Huizinga did a lovely solo violin piece and Trails performed one song with the band backing her up.
It was one of those lovely intimate shows for the holidays!
