American indie rock band The National will release their upcoming seventh album Sleep Well Beast on September 8, 2017 via 4AD.
While album sales aren’t what they used to be in previous years and the increase of streaming.
Sleep Well Beast is one of the most anticipated, hyped (with odds on favourites) albums of 2017.
While I love the leading single The System Only Dreams in Total Darkness.
Longing to know what the rest of the album sounds will be shrouded in mystery and have to wait until the album comes out.
There is something about the vocals of Matt Berninger where he can be so mellow baritone on slower songs to rough around the edges when angsty rock.
I have decided to look back into their past discography and pick my 10 favourite songs from them.
Equaling out from each of their albums mostly from their last two albums High Violet and Trouble Will Find Me.
Enjoy this list.
