JF Robitaille – Calendar [Review]

I’ve seen Montreal’s JF Robitaille playing live two times this year.
Being impressed with his songwriting and how he performs them live.
He recently released his album Calendar this year.
Finally got time to listen to the whole album.
Calendar is 12 tracks filled with indie folk-rock-pop tunes.

It is like a mix of the classic sounds of Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen to the current sounds similar to Jim Bryson.
Love there is a balance of slow acoustic songs in When We Say Goodbye, Winter Like These, Everything’s Broken Here and Calendar.
There are some upbeat tracks in For Better Or Worse and Enemies.
Some of the songs he writes are about Montreal and New York City.
JF Robitaille @ Avant-Garde Bar
This is actually a great album for those into indie folk rock.
Best Tracks:

I’d give Calendar 8/10.
