Started off CMW on March 22nd with a noon showcase presented by CBC Music at the Church of the Holy Trinity.
I was very excited for this showcase and how I managed to get up this early is beyond me!

This showcase was hosted by CBC Radio 3 host Lana Gay.
The first band to play was Montreal’s Folly & The Hunter.
I finally got to see them play live.
With all the buzz they have been getting on the upcoming second album and playing to sold out shows in Ottawa.
They played a wonderful folk-rock and pop set.
Really amazing band to see live.
Lastly it was Aidan Knight’s turn.
I was really excited to see him play.
Was the only time I can catch him live.
He and his backing band played mostly from the current album “Small Reveal”.
Words can’t explain it, you just had to be there to see it in a church.
Overall a great showcase!
