Today Arcade Fire dropped their long awaited sixth album simply called WE.
Sounds like the band learned their lesson from their disastrous fifth album Everything Now.
WE is sort of back to the basics for the band and playing it safe with the help with Nigel Godrich.
Parenthood has changed the direction with the band on their musical output sounding abit soft.
While the leading single The Lightning I & II is their most upbeat one and the rest is more on the ABBA-esque & 80s-synth vibe.
Still a ok album but not The Suburbs, Neon Bible and Funeral level.
At least we can’t give them any backlash on WE.
