Best Albums So Far In The Past 15 Years [91-100]

Looks like 2015 is almost coming to a close.
But before I do my “Best of 2015”, I was compiling a list of albums from the last 15 years.
Starting from 2000 to now, I did a list called MW2k.
There is some updating, tweaking and being time consuming.
Most of the albums in this compiled can be good and bad but hey it’s my list!
If there are some missing, please discuss it.
Here is part one from my favorite albums of the past 15 years starting from 91 to 100.

  1. Snow Patrol – Final Straw [2003] (76)
  2. First Snow Patrol album I bought. Best track is definitely How To Be Dead but it was Run that got them very big.

  3. Fiona Apple – The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do [2012] (NEW)
  4. That is one long ass album title! One of her best works so far from Every Single Night to Hot Knife.

  5. The Strokes – Is This It [2001] (55)
  6. The album that catapulted them to rock stardom. Get the album that includes New York City Cops.

  7. Crystal Castles – Crystal Castles [2008] (NEW)
  8. Debut album that made them famous with their electronic glitchy noise music

  9. Lana del Rey – Born To Die [2012] (NEW)
  10. Love it or hate it. You can’t get sucked into her moody Nancy Sinatra influenced music. Blue Jeans all the way!

  11. Passion Pit – Manners [2009] (NEW)
  12. Debut album by the Massachusetts band. Filled with fun electro-synth pop music. Just love the music video for The Reeling

  13. Mother Mother – O My Heart [2008] (51)
  14. One of their finest pop albums the Vancouver act has recorded.

  15. Shakira – Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 [2005] (NEW)
  16. Who doesn’t love Hips Don’t Lie?

  17. Justin Timberlake – The 20/20 Experience [2013] (NEW)
  18. After a long wait for JT’s third album. We not only got one but two albums in the process. While it wasn’t FutureSex / LoveSounds it still maintain the JT sound.

  19. Drake – Take Care [2012] (NEW)
  20. Only reason I am putting this on the list is the title track featuring Rihanna.
