A shoegazey and dream alterna-pop show at Live on Elgin for a hot Thursday night.
I finally caught the Montreal-based band bodywash since there is a buzz surrounding them with their blend of dream pop and shoegaze music.
Backed by a full band, they played tracks from their new album I Held the Shape While I Could and first album Comforter.
Very impressed to finally see them live.
Kicking off the show was a new band from Ottawa called Still Youth.
More of a heavy shoegaze alternative rock set.
They did a cover of a Slowdive song which one of the members of bodywash enjoyed.
