Didn’t get to see their set during Ottawa Explosion Weekend 2018. But I managed to take a photograph of the Leeds, UK act Kamikaze Girls.
There was no way I would miss this set during Ottawa Explosion Weekend. Over at the 27 Club, The White Wires performed a fun power pop set! While it was a late show (1:30am to be exact), I totally had a great time dancing and singing to their songs.

Surprise show at the Record Centre with New York City’s Fruit & Flowers during Ottawa Explosion Weekend 2018. The band was held at the border and couldn’t perform on the first night at The 27 Club. They did manage to drive up to Ottawa and perform a wonderful day show!
You know music festival has started in Ottawa with Ottawa Explosion Weekend 2018. The first night kicked off at the 27 Club with The Heavy Medicine Band, Expanda Fuzz and Foam. Sadly Fruit & Flowers couldn’t make it. Anyways check out the photos.
Apt613 celebrated their 9th birthday/anniversary at Bar Robo. Took place on June 13, 2018 (aka 613 Day). While the rain put a damper on the event but the sun eventually came out at around 7pm. It was a wonderful fun time to celebrate this! Check out the photos. More on here.
