The Screaming Eagle of Soul, Charles Bradley played the main stage at Ottawa Bluesfest on July 5th.
It was one of two shows Charles and his band “The Extraordinaires” played at the festival.
They opened up for LMAFO.
The show started off with a long intro with The Extraordinaires.
After about 5 minutes, Charles Bradley came on stage.
The audience who was there for him were on their feet.
All I have to say, Charles can really belt it out!
Reminded me a few months ago of seeing Lee Fields at Ritual.
I didn’t stay long but I heard from friend that he did an amazing job covering a Neil Young song.
