This was my first time attending Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party.
Three-day event that takes place in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill filled with great live acts from big names to local acts in various stages.
Here were the acts that performed on Day 1:
Lucy Dacus from Richmond, Virginia.
First performer of the day on the main stage and I really enjoyed her indie alternative music.
Seattle’s hip-hop/rap group Lion’s Ambition who I caught for abit on the Vera Stage.
Seattle’s Eastern Souvenirs.
Had that moody indie electro-pop vibe over at the Neumos stage.
Seattle’s psych-rock band Automotive Steamhorse performed at Barboza.
I really enjoyed Seattle’s alterna-rock band Sloucher.
Who doesn’t like that band name?
Chicago rapper Noname.
Tango Alpha Tango is a rock and roll band from Portland.
I couldn’t believe that I got to see Thundercat perform!
This was my first time and I was like whoa!
Stephen Bruner is getting lots of hype due to the releae of the album Drunk.
Blending electronic, R&B alternative and hip hop which had the audience all excited!
Another performer that I was happy and impressed was Mura Masa.
The DJ, electronic music producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist was on the main stage.
It was so exciting when he was accompanied by a singer (who I didn’t get her name).
Great time dancing to the music!
I never thought I would see Wolf Parade again.
Seeing them in Seattle was incredible that is because they are Sub Pop!
Performed old and some new materials from their upcoming album!
Yeah they were awesome!
Run the Jewels killed it on the main stage!
Kicking off the Friday part of the festival.
It was so insane!
Ended Friday night seeing Austra‘s set.
