Went to Ottawa’s Mercury Lounge for this show that happened on May 2, 2012.
It was one of those under the radar kind of show.
It’s been awhile since I last saw the band Halifax play in Ottawa.
Playing at the show were:
• Cousins
• Claude Munson & The Storm Outside
The show started off with Gatineau/Ottawa band Claude Munson and the Storm Outside.
Their music was indie Alternative Folk Rock.
Pretty nice intimate show the band put on.
Then it was Cousin’s turn to play.
The band is in touring mode promoting the album “The Palm At The End Of The Mind“.
It was just Aaron and Leigh (?) on stage.
A brilliant set of indie garage lo-fi pop rock with an added bit of surf pop.
They mostly played from the current album.
I wanted to dance but I didn’t want to look foolish.
Overall a great set.
