For the first time in Canada, the Canada Science and Technology Museum presents Leonardo da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius, the most comprehensive exhibition experience on Leonardo da Vinci to tour the world. Created by Grande Exhibitions in collaboration with the Museo Leonardo da Vinci in Rome and a number of experts and historians from Italy and France, this interactive experience commemorates 500 years of Leonardo’s legacy.
Before opening up for the exhibition, there was a reception and speeches by Christina Tessier (President and CEO of Igenium – Canada’s Museums of Science and Innovation), Dr. Gary Polonosky (Chair of Board Trustees – Canada’s Museum of Science and Innovation), Andy Fillmore (Member of Parliament for Halifax. Parliamentary Secretary for Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism) and Claudio Taffuri (Ambassador of Italy to Canada).
Wonderful night to see genius works of DaVinci with replicas of paintings, inventions and a revolutionary SENSORY4™ technology allows visitors to take a journey into the mind of the ultimate Renaissance man for the very first time.
The exhibition runs until September 2, 2019.
