NAC Indigenous Theatre Launch

The National Arts Centre unveiled details of the inaugural season of the first national Indigenous Theatre programming.
They will be celebrating Indigenous women’s resilience, strength and beauty with 9 out of 11 written and created by women.

At the launch, DJing was DJ Kookum and musical performance by Mazinikijik Singers.
There was speeches by Annie Smith St-Georges and Robert St-Georges and Christopher Deacon (President and CEO of the NAC).
Kevin Loring (Artistic Director) and Lori Marchand revealed the programming which includes Mòshkamo which happens on September 11 to 29.

Finding Wolastoq Voice at The Azrieli Studio on September 21 – 23.
Hot Brown Honey at Babs Asper Theatre on May 5 – 9
