Evening Hymns, Giant Hand and Jon Amor @ Umi Cafe

It was a lovely November 18th evening at Umi Cafe.
Playing at the show were:

Haven’t been to a show at Umi Cafe in a long time.
It was great seeing these three musicians.

The first set was from Jon Amor.
He put on a great acoustic set.
Sang 4 originals and 2 covers.

Second was Giant Hand.
Another great set he put.
He was accompanied by David Banoub who used to play with Centretown Cripplers but now plays with the Mnemonics.
After the second song or third, it started snowing outside.

Lastly it was Evening Hymns.
This is the first time I’ve seen him play solo.
It was just amazing!
He started off with Dead Deer and that song always gets to me.
Hearing it with him and the guitar is just speechless.
Sang tracks from Spirit Guides and previewed two new songs from an upcoming album.
He sang one cover.

Overall it was a great intimate acoustic show.
Here are the rest of the photos.
