indie Live Music Ottawa Photography Show Review Future States, Raveen and mal/aimé @ Pressed By Ming Wu on Friday, March 17, 2017 Wonderful show on Thursday night at Pressed with Future States, Raveen and mal/aimé (formerly known as Droney Girl and members of Pony Girl). Montreal/Ottawa Folk pop band Future States. Performing tracks from their album Casual Listeners. It was such a great set that I enjoyed it by eating Sun Chips which friends had to smuggled in because they were so hungry and Pressed’s kitchen was closed after 10pm. Montreal 3 piece Electronica pop band Raveen. Sounded like James Blake and really enjoyed that set! Starting off the set was mal/aimé who are formerly known as Droney Girl. The night of the show, they decided to change their name and it was their debut. Wonderful experimental dreamy chamber instrumental music.
