Today, Toronto artist Granny Smith dropped the music video for Ode 2 A King.
The single came out in January and now the official music video to the instrumental funky track sees the light of day.
About the track:
“It doesn’t really make sense that it’s been 5 years since Prince passed away.
I recorded this song the day after I’d heard.
I didn’t feel like singing so I just played the drums & layered piano, organ, bass & guitar to that.
I did a few versions beyond what was recorded that first day but this is that first bounce.”
