The show started off with Ottawa’s The Donna Litas.
They rocked it up during their set.

Next was Aidan Knight from Victoria.
I hadn’t seen play live since last March.
This time he had a backing band called “Friendly Fires”.
It was a wonderful set.
Played some new material from the upcoming album which might drop later this year or next year.
He played a solo set which he wanted the audience to be quiet.
Forgot the name of the song but it was just amazing to hear live.
Aidan was surprised with the turnout for his set.

Lastly it was Hey Ocean!
It’s been awhile for the band to play in Ottawa.
They started off with “If I Were A Ship” which the members shouted out “HEY OCEAN!”.
That is the song where Ashleigh plays the Kalimba.

Then they played “Make A New Dance Up” which in the end they added abit of Whitney’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”.
They did play some favorites from “It’s Easier to Be Somebody Else” like Fish and A Song About California”.
David Vertesi sang Jolene (not the Dolly Parton cover).
David Beckingham sang Islands.
