Hooded Fang – Gravez [Review]

Gravez just dropped on May 28th.
I’d doubt any of the members will read this review.
But what the heck I will make a glowing review for Gravez, if they like it or not (Just sayin’! :P)
I’ve been a fan of Hooded Fang since they released their EP a few years back.
I still think of them when they were a catchy seven piece group and can’t get their song “Straight Up The Dial” out of my head.
Now that the group has been downside to a four piece.
There was a change in direction when Tosta Mista was released.
Gravez which is their third album, still maintains that indie lo-fi summer pop-rock music.
Tracks like Graves and Trasher gets you all rocking out or do some summer twistin’ on the beach.
While there is a hint of experimentation on the synth in tracks like Genes and Ode to Subterrania.

Won’t get too detailed but you should get this album.
Best tracks:

  • Graves
  • Ode to Subterrania
  • Bye Bye Land
  • Wasteland
  • Trasher
  • Never Minding
  • Genes

Overall this is a great album to listen to during the summer.
I’d give Gravez 9/10.
