The Trews was the headliner for the first night. They totally rocked it out of the gates! Great energy and stage presences!Third act of the night was Yukon Blonde! Hadn’t seen them for awhile and they put on a wonderful set!You can three times the charm for seeing Said The Whale! Still promoting their current album As Long As Your Eyes Are Wide. Despite being a 30 minute it was a great set. There was a mishap during Emily Rose when security/police had to physically arrest and take away a drunken audience who was harassing other people. The band pulled through that incident. A little bummed out that they didn’t perform Miscarriage.
Starting off the night was Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs. Hadn’t seen them since they played at Ottawa Explosion Weekend (Forget the year). Great fun power pop/punkish music! Playing materials from their Dine Alone Records self-titled album.
