There was another in-store performance at the Record Centre on November 28th.
In the evening it was Jill Zmud performing at the store for Under The Duvet show.
What was cool about this show was fourteen tunes were requested by fans during her fundraising campaign for “small matters of life and death”.
Fans who donated to the campaign and had a tune they wanted to request.
And those requests are varied from 1940’s swing to 1960’s folk to 1980’s pop and 1990’s angst-rock, and more recent stuff from the likes of Kelly Clarkson.
It was the first time at the Record Centre that show was literally packed.
I couldn’t move anywhere since there was seats for VIP (those who requested Jill for the covers).
It was an wonderful set with her accomplices who were Jim Bryson on piano, Jake Bryce on guitar, Jerusha Lewis and Christine Mathenge on vocals.
One of those shows you shouldn’t have missed out.
Jill singing Proud Mary, Ice Cream and The Trouble With Love was truly amazing.
