Went to a lovely intimate show at
Raw Sugar Cafe on March 11, 2012.
The weather was lovely and this was one show you had to attend for a nice Sunday night.
Playing at the show was:
• Jim Bryson
• Jeremy Fisher
Jim and Jeremy were doing their mini tour this past week which got them from London (ON), Waterloo, Toronto and Guelph.
This show in Ottawa was announced a few days ago online and was the last stop of the mini tour.
I was excited to see about it because Jim playing at Raw Sugar Cafe would be something special to see.
This was a chance to catch a full live set by Jeremy Fisher.
Jim Bryson started off the set.
It was just a nice acoustic solo set.
I think he played one new song which he got the audience to participate.
Played favorites like “Clear the Crowds”, “Constellations” & “Metal Girls”.
Of course with every set, there is the usual stage banter.
Love hearing the stories and still takes the cake at doing them!
Favorite part was when he said he was sorry on telling the stories but it will get people to buy his albums.
Still a fun and wonderful set.
Then it was Jeremy Fisher’s turn.
Played some old and new tunes.
I really like the song “Shine A Little Light”.
He too did some stage bantering.
He did a great and wonderful set.
Overall had a great time for a Sunday night show.
Here are the rest of the photos.
