Pop Drone presented a wonderful night of talented musicians at Pressed on April 6, 2019.
Starting off the show was Montreal musician Le Ren.
It was a nice intimate set of indie country pop music of tracks from the EP “songs i oughta hear”. 8/10.
Second was Eliza Niemi.
First time seeing her branch out from Mauno and go solo!
Eliza dropped a new EP called Vinegar which is far different from what I’ve heard when she is with Mauno.
More of a somber folk cello-casio music and hoping to see her perform more later this year! 8/10.
Ending the night was Keturah Johnson performing solo for 2019.
Accompanied by Yolande Laroche of Pony Girl and mal/aimé on clarinet.
More of a stripped down set of songs from the debut album whenever it will come out.
Wonderful perform as always by Keturah! 8/10.
