I was hyped up for this July 23rd show at Club Saw since two of the bands are signed to Sub Pop Records.
Kicking off the show was Montreal’s Nora Kelly Band with their slow burning alt-country music.
The project of DISHPIT’s Nora Kelly and featuring members of Fleece, Bell Orchestre and Treasure Eyes, the music kind of reminds me of Le Ren.

Second band was Weird Nightmare which is the new project of Metz’s Alex Edkins.
For different from METZ which noisy punk rock, Weird Nightmare was more noisy alternative rock and not as angsty.
Amazed at hearing Lusitania, Oh No and Searching For You

Lastly it was Kiwi Jr.‘s turn to perform.
The band previewed some tracks from their upcoming album Chopper which comes out on August 12th.
Also materials from Cooler Returns and Football Money that has a great indie alternative jangle rock music.
