“Believer” is a mood-propelling, danceable track with gratitude at the heart of it, about how transformative it can be to have even one person in your life who expresses their belief in you.
Sometimes, more than advice or a friendly ear, you just need to hear someone say “you’ve got this.”
There are a lot of emotional ups and downs trying to navigate your early career as an artist, and I think I would’ve lost faith in my own ability to do what I hoped if it hadn’t been for the stated belief of a few people around me.
Their support gave me the courage to try for just one more day, month, year. We aren’t always strong enough to persevere on our own steam. We can lean on each other when we’ve lost perspective.
