It’s already March and the snow hasn’t melted in Ottawa.
But it was there was a great show on a Tuesday night at House of Targ.
Performing at the show were Library Voice, Bull Domino and Townes.
It’s been too long (around 2-3 years) since Library Voices has played in Ottawa.
The band was promoting their current album called Lovish.
It was a wonderful and fun set filled with the new album plus favorites from Hunting Ghosts (& Other Collected Shorts), Denim on Denim and Summer of Lust.
They even performed tracks from 2014’s For John which the first time Ottawa audience got to hear live.
Overall there was dancing and singing which made it for a great show for a Tuesday night.
The second band that performed was Bull Domino.
They are an Ottawa act and it was my first time seeing them.
Their music is very indie alternative rock.
One song had a bluegrass-country vibe which I cringed at! 😛
The first act was Townes.
Another Ottawa act which I never seen before.
It was a solo guy playing synth-electro pop music.
Sort of reminded me of Diamond Rings without the crazy costumes and make-up.
