Today, Toronto musician Luka Kuplowsky released the self-directed music video for “The Grass Grows, Luka Grows.”
The track serves as the lead single from his upcoming album, The Grass Grows, Antonych Grows Росте Антонич, і росте трава, due out March 20, 2026 via Next Door Records.
It’s a charmingly quirky slice of indie minimal synth-pop, understated and quietly captivating.

“The Grass Grows, Luka Grows” with a self-directed music video celebrating play and self-expression, highlighting the whimsy and curiosity in the music.
Kuplowsky comments, “I wanted to move and so my friend and collaborator Noriko Yamamoto choreographed some movements for me.
I wanted to create a world to move around in with texture, colour and expressiveness so I collaborated with a five year old artist, Jojo.
