Calgary-based duo Miesha and the Spanks electrified the National Arts Centre‘s Fourth Stage with an energetic, 75-minute set that never let up.
With a loud, raucous sound that filled the intimate space, they treated the crowd to material from across their three albums.
The raw, gritty energy of Miesha’s powerful vocals and thrashing guitar riffs paired perfectly with the pounding drums to create a performance that felt larger than life.
Whether delivering fast-paced punk rock anthems or heavier, grunge-inflected numbers, the band kept the audience on their feet, headbanging and dancing along.
The connection between the band and the crowd was palpable, making for an unforgettable night of unapologetic, high-energy rock and roll.
